It would be helpful to include a column in the care plan to address Consent for Mail Opening and Consent for Financial Management. This would allow clarity on whether resident consents to staff opening his mail or prefers to manage it themself, as well as whether they agrees to staff assistance with managing their finances or if they will continue to manage them independently.
