Auto-Generated Handover Statement

At the end of every shift, the system will automatically generate a clear and concise handover report. This handover will be based on the last 24 hours of PCS recordings and will include key updates such as:

• Bowel movements and bowel care records

• Any hospital admissions, GP involvement, or professional visits

• New wounds, changes in existing wounds, or skin integrity updates

• Behavioural changes or incidents, including triggers and responses

• Any other significant events, risks, or observations that impact care

Staff will also have the option to add their own additional notes or clarifications before the handover is finalised. This ensures the report is accurate, comprehensive, and reflective of both automated records and staff input.

The handover will then be available for the incoming team, providing a reliable summary of the resident’s current needs, wellbeing, and any actions required.
