Many foods containing fluid could be added to fluids list, custard, jelly, cream sauces, yoghurts, porridge and gravy to name a few. When a person is on fluid watch only drinks are recorded as fluids, this is not a true reading of their fluid intake. Being able to record amounts of fluid from food consumed will give a more accurate result, and will show that most service users are consuming an adequate amount, thus preventing being on fluid watch.
