The Accident / Incident forms the full forms that are filled in on the monitor needs to be made accessible to be filled in hand sets. These forms are time sensitive.
The only people who have access to the computers are Management and Senior staff. Who are usually the last people to arrive at and accident / Incident.
Therefore what information is on the hand set is usually brief. If the shift has been a very busy shift they are usually very busy with running the shift and dealing with things like doctors etc.
If the member of staff who has logged the report in brief on the handset then is off for any particular reason or the senior who was on duty is off the next day. That brief information just sits there . With nothing done .
If say for instance they resident a couple of days later then has to go to hospital for what ever reason there is literally only a small piece of information on the system.
There should be away of having full access to the full accident / Incident forms to be filled in on the hand sets . As this is vital information that can only be provided by the person/ persons who are actually there.
