Remove the previously used prompts from handheld devices so staff cannot copy and paste old information

I highly suggest that previously used prompts used for residents are removed from handheld PCS devices so that staff cannot copy and paste old information. As I am sure many companies experience staff will short cut paperwork and documentation where possible and sometimes it comes at the detriment of the care.

Through implementing this above idea it enhances the follow:

• Staff will work in a person centred way more and care notes will reflect this

• Prevents any old inaccurate notes being used word for word

• Results in better feedback on documentation (CQC, Funding/Commissioners)

• Highlights which staff truly need more training and support and which are being lazy with work and genuinely do not care.
