Could it also be looked at that we can have a fluid tracker per shift? A SU can drink all 2L in one shift and that is their 24 hour fluid watch already ticked. But it can also be a concern that an individual drunk 0 ml in another shift, although it will appear that its not a trigger to cause concern as calculating it to a 24 hr period would still show a 2L mark .
This can also be a way to monitor quality assurance in terms of how much staff offer in each shift, obviously considering times when SU are asleep, bearing in mind the times are variable as not all SU have conventional sleeping patterns.
