Develop a reporting or dashboard feature within PCS that automatically tracks and displays the time elapsed between the date and incident is reported and the date it is closed by the manager.
Can this ben achieved by adding two data points for each incident entry.
Date reports (automatically recorded when the incident is logged by staff member).
Date closed (entered by the manager once the investigation and/or actions are completed).
Could PCS then use calculate and display the total number of days taken to close each incident? A summary view could be shown as:
Average closure time per home/service
Number of open vs closed incidents
Alerts for incidents that remain open beyond a set number of days.
This will help improve service oversight and accountability, enhance quality and compliance monitoring, trend analysis and performance improvement, support with data driven decision making.
