Professional Contacts drop down

hi .. can we have a drop down of ALL contacts related to a category. So, eg, if searching for a Dr all Doctors used are listed in a searchable drop down .. so much faster than inputting names and then searching (esp as names can be kind of pretty long nowadays etc).
