It will allow the carer team (who don't have acces to monitor) to see what the person has had and allow them to update fluids offered earlier (as currently we sometimes lose the earlier fluid tile so it can't be updated).
This is a significant issue within our home, and it would be extremely helpful to have the option for the information displayed on laptops to mirror what is shown on the handsets, as both systems currently display different timescales and fluid intake totals.
For example, at 7am a resident’s fluid watch on the handsets showed an intake of 1.7L already completed; however, this reflected the previous 24 hours, whereas the laptop record displays intake from midnight onwards. This difference can be misleading for care staff and may impact the accuracy of monitoring.
Please could homes be given the option to amend or customise these display settings if desired, to ensure fluid monitoring is clearer and easier for staff to interpret accurately.
