An improved care notes reporting system, with customisable filters would be great — one that allows us to tick multiple care categories or deselect things we don’t need. This would make it much easier to generate tailored reports quickly and efficiently for audits, safeguarding enquiries, or external professionals.
The care notes reporting tool isn’t currently flexible enough when we need to extract specific information. If we want to include multiple care areas (e.g. emotional support, mobility, medical interventions), we have to run separate reports for each. It’s also not possible to exclude things like medication entries, which we don’t always need if we have access to this data on another platform. The current process makes it harder to build clear timelines and slows us down when responding to external professionals.
