At the moment care staff can pick a planned care repositioning tile many hours before its due and will not replace the scheduled tile so creates a missed reposition.
So recent example was 9am tile was selected at 6.23am so then the 9am tile was taken, so they did not get a repo till 11am. There needs to be a message that pops up to say what time its scheduled for and asking are they sure they want to proceed. Or the other option is setting a time limit they can do the repo early early, I would not want anything earlier than 30 minutes before due. This needs sorting ASAP as could cause potential harm to residents
they should be able to add adhoc repositioning which will move the next reposition. People don't move only every 2, 3, or 4 hours. other things occur which result in repositioning e.g. use the toilet / pad change, reposition for meals, change of scenery or seat from chair to bed etc. but if repositioning is planned for an hour after an adhoc reposition then the system should be smart enough to adjust the times.
PCS is too rigid and not person centred because of lack of flexibility.
