Resident preferences

Hello, I would like to suggest to add to the Care plan sections the RESIDENT PREFERENCE.

I believe that for more person centred and organized Care planning it would be beneficial to have this section.

On Care plan we have:

• Current assessments

• Care Need

• Resident preference of Care (suggestion)

• outcome

• Able to do themself

• Actions (where we can evidence the actions based on care need and resident preferences)

• Actions to track for reviews.

Adding this section would give a opportunity for the resident clearly have a space to give voice to their preferences!!!!! This will even more create a sense of accountability for care delivered to become more person centred.
