digital signature for consent to share and care

We have had an inspection and they wanted evidence that clients were participating and consenting to their care plans. Although staff had ticked the consent box on their behalf, it wasn't evidence that they were actually participating in their care plans. We would like to know how we can evidence this with a special care plan form or is there a way to submit a digital signature for clients to prove their consent
