It is mandatory that all topical cream that are applied have a body map showing the exactly placement for the cream to be applied. At present you have to set up a wound or infection to get a body map. This isn't ideal.
I'm currently doubling up my work and each month completing paper body maps for topical creams.
If we can add a section of a body map for all creams including Adhoc creams that would be ideal.
This is something we have been looking for also. CQC are checking that body maps are in place for topical creams and currently we are having to use either paper or the online medication system but this is not something that care staff have access to. A single body map where we can click and record where each cream or adhoc cream is to be applied would be hugely beneficial.
