Please could we be able to personalise the parameters in NEWS for people with, for example COPD, who have a lower expected O2 saturation as the NEWS continues to come up due to scoring high but it is normal for them
Good morning. I too, had an issue with the input of saturations under scale 2, but I then realised that this can be changed per residents. If you complete the Baseline Assessment within Assessment Tools, you can stipulate on there that a resident is Scale 2. This will then update the NEWS chart for that resident on PCS.
