I would like to suggest the development of a generic configurable form template within PCS that can be used to create a wide range of documents, such as consent forms, leave requests, agreements, acknowledgements, and other service-specific forms.
The concept would be similar to a form builder, allowing organisations to create their own templates using common field types such as text boxes, tick boxes, drop-down menus, signatures, dates, and mandatory fields. This would reduce the need for PCS to create individual forms for every purpose and would give providers greater flexibility to develop documentation tailored to their service requirements whilst maintaining consistency within the system.
For example, we could use the same template framework to create internet monitoring consent forms, photography consent forms, leave request forms, visitor agreements, financial agreements, and other bespoke documents without requiring system development for each individual form type.
I believe this would improve efficiency, reduce administrative burden, and provide services with a much more flexible way of managing documentation within PCS.
