mental capacity

good morning i am a senior carer who doses the MCA'S at my care home some of the questions on there i don't think need to be there as they are irrelevant to the actual assessment i.e question K if the assessment is based on call bell medication bed rails ect how would that be irrelevant to that assessment that purely based on the service user using a call bell also again how is the question H irrelevant to an assessment in regards to personal care call bell bed rails ect i don't think they are i think we should have a mental capcity assessment based purely on the assessment itself like the one in the attched file but theses questions that i have said could go on another document with a breif description like a report of what we see and how the service user is in and around the home this can be updated yearly unless there is change this report is some thing we could there speak with the dols team and would benift when talking to the doctors and hospital staff, kind regards miss michelle smith
