independant based on toileting only

We have clients who toilet independently but also wear continent aids, on the system it doesn't recognize they are independent as they wear aids, this is creating gaps in our bowel records as clients are private and independent although do nee bit support at night.
can you not separate the assessment so it allows us to recognize the clients as independent based sole on there toilet independence
